Most recent position was as Sales Director Germany, Austria, Switzerland with the luxury hotel supplier Belmond which also operates luxury trains and river cruises. Especially during his employment with Belmond – formerly Orient-Express – and Corinthia Hotels, he gained extensive knowledge of the MICE segment in the German speaking markets. Gero actively sold events, for example with chartered trains and river cruise ships. His broad network includes decision makers and influencers of MICE agencies as well as corporate accounts.
