House sharks at Relais Royal Tikehau

In 1987 Jacques Cousteau´s research group discovered that the lagoon of Tikehau contains a greater variety of fish species than any other place in French Polynesia. During my visit, I did see a lot fish and the Black Tip Sharks also seem to get enough food.

During my lunch at the beautiful Relais Royal Tikehau, I was watching nine Black Tips swimming in and out of the channel between the two Motus. Amazing animals.

During the German famtrip to "The Islands of Tahiti" we enjoyed the view of "Mount Otemanu" from St. Regis Resort Bora Bora.

And also of the beautifull lagoon of Tikehau from the bungalow of Tikehau Pearl Resort.

Roadshow Tahiti Tourisme Switzerland

Tahiti Tourisme Switzerland has organized a dedicated roadshow to promote The Islands of Tahiti to travel agents. On September 27^th the first stop was in Geneva in a beautiful location close to the lake. Tahiti Tourisme were supported of 4 tour operators and each held a presentation about the island diversity, the culture and the MANA of The islands of Tahiti. Moreover 7 local partners were present for one to one meetings with travel agents. The second stop was on Septmeber 28^th, in Zurich with the support of two tour operators.

To create a special atmosphere a traditional dance group performed Polynesian dances during the evening.

In September I had the pleasure to travel to the beautifull "Islands of Tahiti". I was truely intrigued by the beauty of the islands and embraced by the Mana.
